organizational partners

Hope Arising recently committed to partner with the Ethiopian government and World Bank to complete a one million dollar project to bring a reliable water source to Dera. Drought conditions and dry springs have resulted in unsanitary conditions, the inability to provide healthcare, and a lack of food. City leaders indicated the schools are unable to operate becasue children are too thirsty and are needed to fetch water for their families survival.

In addition to the Ethiopian government, Hope Arising is partnered with a number of international organizations and sponsors.

World Bank
United Families International
YNPN
West Sands Adoptions

about Hope Arising

Disease, general living conditions, war, and HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia threaten to destroy the traditional family structure. Young children often forego education and lose hope for a better future in order to provide immediate care for younger siblings. Those children cared for by extended family members strain limited resources and often end up in servitude to the family hosting them. Children whose parents die from HIV/AIDS are stigmatized and too often ostracized because of simple ignorance and fear.

Hope Arising, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded so "That each child will live healthy, gain education and achieve economic self-reliance for a future of hope."

As a sustainable organization, Hope Arising empowers families to support and care for children orphaned or made vulnerable by disease, war, natural disaster and extreme poverty. Success will include excellent service delivery, capacity-building for grass-root partners and advocacy for children today and in the future.
